After the storm
Storm damage roof repair in Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda
A strong storm can lift shingles, crack tiles and loosen flashing, and the roof can still look fine from the yard. We check every section, photograph what we find and get your home sealed up again.
Wind damage, found and fixed
Wind gets under shingle edges and breaks the seal that holds them down. It bends metal, lifts flashing and cracks tiles. We track down every lifted tab, failed piece of flashing and gap the gusts opened, then close it before the next rain turns it into a problem inside your home.
After a hurricane
A big storm can do damage you can't see from the ground: torn underlayment, fractured tiles, stressed decking. We look at the whole roof system, not just the obvious spots, and repair what the storm actually touched.
Hidden damage tends to spread. A lifted tab or a broken seal can let water into the deck, and that turns into leaks and rot within weeks. Getting it checked early keeps the repair smaller.

Photos and notes you can use
We photograph every issue and write it down, so you have a clear record of the storm damage. What your insurance company decides is up to them, and we won't promise how a claim turns out. But you'll have the facts in hand when you talk to them.
The same documentation goes into your Roof Health Report, graded part by part.
Careful who you let on the roof
After a rough storm, opportunistic contractors flood the area, knock on doors and push for a quick signature. That's not us. We're a local family company with an office in Punta Gorda. Michael runs the field work and Sandra runs the business, so you're talking to the people whose name is on the company.

Right after a storm
- Walk around the house and look for shingles, tiles or metal trim in the yard.
- Check the ceilings, and the attic if you can get in safely, for new stains or drips.
- Take dated photos of anything you find, inside and out.
- Stay off the roof. A wet, damaged roof is no place to be.
- Call us at 941-456-7100 to set up a look at the whole roof.
What storms do to each kind of roof
Shingles lift and lose their seal. Tiles crack or slip, and the underlayment below them takes the water. Metal panels can bend or lift at the edges, and loose trim lets rain in. Flat roofs lose edges and flashing, and storm debris clogs the drains.
We check for all of it, whatever your roof is made of. More on tile, metal and shingle roofs.
Storm damage questions
My roof looks fine from the yard. Should I still call?
Yes. Wind damage hides well from the ground. Lifted tabs and broken seals rarely show until it rains again. We go up, check every section and tell you what's actually there.
How quickly can you come out after a storm?
We treat storm calls as urgent. Right after a big storm the calls pile up, so when you reach us we'll give you an honest answer on timing.
Will you handle my insurance claim?
We don't make promises about claims or what a carrier will decide. We give you photos and written notes on every issue we find, so you have solid documentation for your adjuster.
How do you price storm repair?
It depends on what the storm left behind. Some jobs are a few shingles, others involve the deck. We inspect it fully, give you an honest number and explain every line before we start.
